Boromir had a noble idea but underestimated the power of the ring. His storyline is the heart of book 1. Sean Bean nailed it in the movie.

I vote this one, in the end, he did what had to be done but stood by his morals before everything. Cap! :0

Same! Best classic American Lit there is if you ask me. Fav protagonist by far. His closing argument teaches kids moral courage…power of fiction.

Aragorn is undoubtedly the more heroic character and a real role model. But he is also almost perfect and that might make us feel that it is impossible for us ordinary people to be brave and heroic.
Boromir is a man with doubts, fears, flaws and weaknesses.

Williams was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, which slowly destroys your mind and who you are as a person. It’s an incredibly tragic disease and he didn’t want to live that way. It’s sad, but to say he took the cowards way out is an incredibly naive and stupid thing to say

My guy Rocky Balboa. A good dad, good husband, and good friend. Rocky is a good man who always looks after the people around him. He may not be the smartest guy I’m the world, but his emotional intelligence more than makes up for it. pic.twitter.com/8pfr41fD2Y

Was Ned Stark a hero?
Yes!
Was he a role model to follow?
Only to a limited extent….
Ned Stark made great mistakes, always out of the purest motives, which brought disaster to his whole family.— Eddie Bacon (@EddieBacon9) September 26, 2023
Wow, what a great question.
