興行収入1位 SAW II
評価のわりに興行収入的に成功したのは2作目であるSAW II。1作目からの期待値ゆえか。
なお、ここから6まで下降の一途をたどる。
批評家評価1位 SAW
ホラー映画あるあるの一作目が一番評価高いパターン。
ただしSAWの場合、シリーズ最高評価ですらtomato meterが50%と意外なほど低い結果に。
ただ初めてこの一作目を見た時の、ラストの衝撃を越えるようなホラー映画は無いと断言できる。
一般評価1位 JIGSAW
7作目のファイナルから7年越しの再起を図った新章8作目にて、見事一般評価1位を記録。
みんなきっと待ちに待ってたSAWはこういうのでいいんだよていうやつ。
総評
シリーズ通して批評家と一般からの評価差分がすごい。
内容はともかく1作目から7作目のファイナルまで、1年おきにテンポよく作品を出し続けてたとこは個人的に評価できる。
現状の最新作（SPIRAL）では興行収入最低記録更新しちゃってるのでここから持ち直してほしいところ。
あと毎回ラストに流れるこの曲聞くと妙にテンション上がる。（特に1分過ぎたあたり）
